Running for Governor, I’m everywhere! I’m debating/speaking Friday & Saturday!

by | Feb 27, 2020

Thank you 48th district GOP chair Tim Hickey for the chance to speak with Republican activists in Bellevue this week. The meeting room at Firenze restaurant was filled with longtime friends (I love you Marilyn) and lots of new people too.

In a post-meeting email to attendees, Tim Hickey wrote: “Special thanks to our guest speaker Tim Eyman for giving a riveting speech on his gubernatorial candidacy … Tim Eyman has been working tirelessly for us on this cause for over twenty years and it’s time we the taxpayers of Washington state start putting in more effort to keep taxes low by electing proven conservatives like Tim. Thank you Tim Eyman for all you have done for us and continue to do for us. And thank you for a great speech and Q&A last Tuesday.”

It was a great evening with a lot of great people.

I’m really looking forward to the sold-out Governor’s debate tomorrow

(Fri, Feb 28, 7-9pm). It’s sponsored by KTTH talk radio and Jason Rantz will moderate (it’ll be recorded and air on Mon @ 3pm on 770AM). It’s at the WA State History Museum in Tacoma (1911 Pacific Ave) and is being held in a large auditorium that seats 200 people — IT SOLD OUT IN A DAY!

Here’s how my team described me for the hand-out:

Policy Reformer & Initiative Activist Tim Eyman: No one has defended taxpayers or fought for voters like Tim Eyman. Born and raised in Yakima, Tim was a championship-level wrestler for WSU, ran a small business in King County, and visited every part of Washington over the years, listening to voters’ concerns about issues the entire time. A fearless, battle-tested fighter, Tim achieved results for Washington. He passed 11 initiatives, most recently $30 Car Tabs, and saved taxpayers $43 Billion. In his 20+ years as a policy reformer, Tim has demonstrated the persistence needed to solve Washington’s big problems, defend our rights, and defeat Jay Inslee.”

Again, I’m really looking forward to it.

And then on Saturday morning, I’ll be driving to and speaking at as many GOP caucus locations as I can — and yes, I’ll be driving with non-renewed car tabs:

I ask you to do 2 things:

1) If you support my First Amendment right to continue fighting for taxpayers as an activist and as Governor, then please donate $30 (or more) to my campaign (credit card or PayPal hereTim4Gov.com/donate or mail checks to: Governor Eyman for WA, PO Box 2107, Olympia, WA, 98507). Your contribution tells Jay Inslee he’s failed us.

2) Forward/share today’s update with friends, family, and co-workers. Help us get the word out. Make sure to send them this “one page” about my race for Governor: https://tim4gov.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/EymanForGovernor-Flyer4_color.pdf. Invite them to join our team.

If you oppose Jay Inslee getting 4 more years, then please donate $30 (or more) today (Tim4Gov.com/donate) and convince others to do the same.

I make you this promise: support me in this effort and I’ll give you a race for Governor like you’ve never seen before.

I love you all.

Tim

P.S. Support my efforts to defend I-976 by donating $30 todayTim4Gov.com/donate. And please forward this update and this “one page” to your family, friends, and co-workers (https://tim4gov.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/EymanForGovernor-Flyer4_color.pdf). Thanks very much.
