Voters Were Not Confused By AG Bob Ferguson’s Description Of I-976 — But The Court Said We Were

by | Oct 15, 2020

Voters were not confused.

It’s maddening that the supreme court ruled that we were confused about our $30 Tabs Initiative.

We were not.

We knew exactly what we were voting on when we passed Initiative 976 last year.

But Seattle’s lawyers said that AG Bob Ferguson’s description of I-976 confused voters.

The state supreme court bought that load of crap.

They said AG Bob Ferguson’s description was “deceptive and misleading.”

Even King County Judge Marshall Ferguson ruled the initiative was constitutional and that there was nothing wrong with the description.

But 9 corrupt judges on the high court went the other way.

It’s infuriating.

You have every right to be angry and outraged by this absurd situation:

* Voters have 3 times passed initiatives requiring $30, and yet no one is paying $30.

* Voters have 3 times repealed the dishonest, artificially inflated vehicle valuation schedule, and yet vehicle owners in the Puget Sound are still getting ripped off by that same dishonest schedule.

* Voters passed into law an initiative making certain vehicle taxes and fees illegal and yet we’re being told to pay those taxes and fees anyway because “voters were confused.”

When the left gets angry, they riot, attack cops, break windows, and firebomb cars.

I believe in peaceful protest.

So first and foremost, I reiterate my commitment to not renew my vehicle tabs and encourage you to do the same:

Second, we need to tell Jay Inslee to do what Gov. Gary Locke did 21 years ago and that’s to call for a special session of the Legislature to fix this.

THIRD, WE MUST NOT GIVE UP.

I won’t.

I never will.

There’s no way I’m going to let little fascists like AG Bob Ferguson stop me from continuing to fight for the taxpayers of Washington state.

I really need your help to survive AG Bob Ferguson’s investigation / litigation / persecution of me and my family. The only reason we’re still here is thanks to the heartfelt prayers and generous support from friends like you.

In addition, we worked really hard on our $30 Tabs Initiative.

We got I-976 qualified, passed, and upheld by that King County Judge (it’s still on hold because of the AG’s sabotage). Karen and I sacrificed a lot — we sold off our retirement fund and loaned $500K to kickstart its signature drive.

We’re asking folks to donate so we can get paid back. Please help with that:
