Eyman Challenges Inslee/Microsoft Law Installing Facial Recognition At SeaTac Airport
DETAILS: Eyman challenges “Inslee-Microsoft” law installing Facial Recognition technology @ SeaTac Airport. MAJOR SPEECH. Wed, July 1, 1-1:45pm, 2623 S 170th St, SeaTac (southwest corner of the cell phone lot). Join me tomorrow to learn about my commitment to protecting your personal privacy against Inslee and Microsoft.
Innocent citizens should not be forced to accept such a disturbing escalation of governmental power without greater scrutiny. The U.S. Constitution’s Fourth Amendment guarantees the people’s right “to be secure against unreasonable searches and seizures” from the government. Facial recognition technology that tracks, profiles, records, and maintains the identities and movements of innocent citizens clearly threatens that constitutional right. Our personal privacy and constitutional rights must not be sacrificed to Inslee and Microsoft.
Besides speaking out against it, I will be announcing tomorrow how I will get this law reversed — YOU’RE GONNA LOVE IT.
This is a national issue and it will be a central point of contention between us in the fall campaign.
