September Speaker: Tim Eyman

Tim Eyman is a conservative political activist in the U.S. state of Washington.  He advocates for a smaller state government, through lowering state taxes and fees.  He has written 19 initiatives and one referendum.  Eyman’s work on Initiative 695 in 2000 ($30 Car Tabs) was recognized by the Conservative Political Action Conference with its Ronald Reagan Award. He continues his activism through his organization, Voters Want More Choices- www.voterswantmorechoices.com.  He will speak on the initiative process, his team’s past and future efforts, the 2014 election and what to expect from next year’s legislative session (“it’s gonna be scary”).
