It Is Heroes Like Susan Murphy Who Should Inspire Us All.
This extraordinary signature drive started in earnest just 4 weeks ago. And there’s one amazing person who has been out there collecting signatures every day since then: Susan Murphy.
And she just posted this on Facebook:
Happy 3rd of July everyone! I am a bit sad as today will be my last day to meet a lot of you who would like to sign I-1648.
I would like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who stopped by to see me (often more than once) to sign the petition and/or pick-up/drop off petitions. It was truly a pleasure to meet so many wonderful people who stepped up to make a difference in this state.
So, for my final stop with my mobile signing service, I will be in Auburn today from 4:00pm – 6:30 pm in the LA Fitness/Office Depot shopping center on 15th NW and Auburn Way in the parking lot across from Bank of America. As usual, I will be in my black Chevy SUV with the signs in the window.

I have petitions to sign, and if you need to drop any off with me to take to Olympia on Friday, please come by and see me.
— END —
It is heroes like Susan who should inspire us all.
When we turn-in signatures on Friday, the thing I’m most looking forward to is meeting Susan and thanking her for her heroic efforts.
We’re in a mad scramble in these final days. We’re all working as hard as we can.
