It’s Tim’s 52nd birthday today — here’s Christmas card from my family to yours
I’ve had 52 years of life and I’m ready for 52 more.
Other than being a husband and a father, there’s nothing I’m more proud of than being a political activist.
I firmly believe this is true: “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.”
Over the past 18 years, I have had the extreme joy of being a political activist in the state of Washington. I love it. I love everything about it. I love my supporters, I couldn’t have a greater group of friends.
I love my opponents (one of the measures of an activist’s effectiveness is the fervor of his opposition). They are my friends because they highlight ways for me to improve.
To everyone who receives this email, friend and foe alike, please accept my deepest appreciation for allowing me to do what I love to do.
Here’s my Christmas card to you and your family. Best wishes to you and everyone you care about this holiday season:
Question: “When should I mail in my partially and fully filled petitions?”
Answer: Mail them to Spokane before Christmas. The address to send them to appears on the back of the petition (Voters Want More Choices, PO Box 18250, Spokane, WA, 99228).
Question: “Are we gonna make it?”
Answer: It all boils down to these final weeks. Having qualified 16 initiatives over the years, we’ve made it look easy. It’s not. It’s really tough. So we need to keep our heads down and keep working hard all the way until the end.
We are enormously grateful for your hard work and support for this important initiative.
