Just 5 days left for your donation to be worth DOUBLE – please help I-1366

For the 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment Initiative to succeed (and it MUST succeed), we need to raise a lot of money.  Voters deserve the opportunity to permanently protect themselves from Olympia’s insatiable tax appetite.  

         For the next 5 days (Tuesday March 31 is the deadline), your donation is worth double.  A successful business leader has agreed to match dollar-for-dollar all the donations we receive this month.  That means if you donate $1000 in April/May/June, it’ll be worth $1000.  But if you donate $1000 in the next 5 days, it’ll provide $2000 to the campaign for I-1366. Whatever amount you can give will help.

         This current legislative session is providing a perfect illustration of why the 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment is necessary.  Look what they’re doing without the 2/3:  the supposedly conservative state senate passed a $15 billion package of tax hikes (gas taxes, car tab taxes, etc) on taxpayers statewide.  And they authorized Sound Transit to impose an additional $11 billion in tax increases (sales taxes, car tab taxes, property taxes) on taxpayers in the Puget Sound region.  

          And who’s complaining the most about their tax packages?  Governor Jay Inslee BECAUSE HE DOESN’T THINK THE TAX HIKES ARE BIG ENOUGH!!!

          During these tough economic times, taxpayers continue to struggle.

           And Olympia’s response is to burden them even more.   

          A 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment provides an historic opportunity for the people to be permanently protected from higher taxes (income taxes, capital gains taxes, carbon taxes, increases in sales taxes, property taxes, business taxes, utility taxes, car tab taxes). 

          The 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment Initiative is the most exciting, impactful, needed initiative we’ve ever done.  But we need your help to make Initiative 1366 a reality.  Do the “March match” now.
