Our New Initiative Makes The Democrats’ Income Tax THE ISSUE In 2020 Election Cycle

by | Apr 1, 2019

We had originally planned to launch TODAY the signature drive for our new “We Don’t Want An Income Tax Initiative.”  But over the weekend, we decided to switch gears and do it as an initiative to the legislature.

2 reasons this is better:

1)  When the Democrats impose their new income tax bill this month, we’re gonna collect signatures from the end of April through the end of December and when it qualifies, it’ll appear on the November, 2020 ballot.  This guarantees the Democrats’ income tax will be THE ISSUE for every race in every position during that critical election cycle.  Democrats want this divisive debate over and done with THIS YEAR so they can talk about something else in 2020.  Our “We Don’t Want An Income Tax Initiative” makes the Democrats’ income tax front and center during a presidential year when voters are really paying attention.

2)  We just qualified our $30 Tabs Initiative because we had time.  By giving ourselves 8 months to collect the 320K signatures needed to qualify, it makes it much less costly.  In recent years, initiatives to the people cost $2-5 million (because just 3 months to collect signatures) compared to our $30 Tabs Initiative spent $670,000 (because we had 8 months).  This gives our effort a much greater chance of qualifying.

The Democrats have so many Seattle wackos in their House and Senate caucuses that they clearly have the votes to pass it.  All the big government special interest groups are putting maximum pressure to just “go for it.”

The one and only public hearing on the House Democrats’ income tax bill (HB 2156) is this Thursday @ 8am.  You just know that hearing room is gonna be packed with all the tax-takers (the special interests that are gonna get the money).  Join me and let’s have a strong contingent of citizens who actually pay taxes.

If you can’t join me there BECAUSE YOU WORK FOR A LIVING, send emails to all 147 legislators (one to senators, one to House members).  Here’s how:

Type this as your Subject line:  Impose an income tax in 2019 and we’ll make you famous in 2020

In the body of your email, use your own words.  Tell ’em if they impose an income tax, we’re gonna make ’em famous in 2020.
