I read in the Olympian that there is a work session this Friday at 10 am concerning your legislative effort to repeal tax advisory votes. This taxpayer protection policy was approved by voters in 2007 and reaffirmed by voters in 2012. Here is a detailed defense of the policy: http://www.heraldnet.com/ article/20131027/OPINION03/ 710279965/A-defense-of-tax- advisory-votes
I’ve since learned that the only way someone may participate in a work session is to be invited by the committee’s chairman: you.
As one of the co-sponsors of Initiative 960 and Initiative 1185, would you invite me to participate? Please let me know.
Sincerely, Tim Eyman, ph: 425-493-9127, email: tim_eyman@comcast.net
We ask that you please email Rep. Hunt sam.hunt@leg.wa.gov (make sure to “cc” me – tim_eyman@comcast.net) and encourage him to respond.
It never stops — the battle continues. For 16 years, we’ve done our best to fight for taxpayers.
