Tell ’em to stop: Democrats’ tax obsession is dragging out legislative session

          I ask you — RIGHT NOW — to email this, or something like this to ALL legislators:

“Legislators, from our existing taxes, the state budget is gonna be $3 billion higher than the last.  That’s more than enough to adopt a no-new-taxes budget.  Olympia has a prioritizing-spending-problem, not a lack-of-taxes-problem.  Stop trying to convince us that we’re undertaxed — we’re clearly not.  Your failure to respond to the taxpayers’ rightful public outrage over artificially inflated car tab taxes is the last straw.  We’re not going to tolerate even higher taxes on top of our already crushing tax burden.  Sound Transit’s 54 billion dollar pig-out has sucked all the oxygen out of the room when it comes to raising taxes.  Stop trying to take more of the people’s money — we’re tapped out.  Legislators, adopt a no-new-taxes budget and go home.”
