Today is the last day to raise the remaining $24,634 — it’s do or die
For 5 months, I’ve been like a personal trainer, encouraging you to do one more push-up, one more bench press, one my stomach crunch. The signature drive for I-1366 has been a real workout for all of us. I’ve asked, I’ve pleaded, I’ve begged — repeatedly and sometimes obnoxiously — to donate so that we can qualify the 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment Initiative for the ballot.
Here’s some heroic supporters who responded to yesterday’s plea:
Marshall Mering: “
Tim, I am a 100% disabled Vietnam vet and live on a fixed income but my wife and I just donated $100 to help stem the tide of tax increases of an inflated government that needs to learn to live within their means and not create a new program, division or office just because a special interest deems it necessary. Keep up the good work.”
Don Nielson: “I’ll do my part — I just donated $1000 by credit card on your website. When a 12% increase in state revenues is insufficient to finance all the desires of our legislature and Governor, then this initiative takes on real legitimacy.”
Bob Eberle (donates $50 every month): “Just mailed in another $200. If politicians actually listened to the people, initiatives like I-1366 wouldn’t be necessary. Thank you Tim for giving us taxpayers a voice.”
With their donations and $$ from others, we’re now just $24,634 from our goal.
We’ve worked too hard and invested too much to fall short now.
Please help us get this over the finish line.
Make checks payable to “2/3 Constitutional Amendment” and mail to: 2/3 Constitutional Amendment, PO Box 18250, Spokane, WA, 99228
Or, you can donate online by credit card: www.VotersWantMoreChoices.com/donateA.html
Either way, please donate now.
A 2/3-For-Taxes Constitutional Amendment means permanent protection from Olympia’s insatiable tax appetite. It’s really exciting. Initiative 1366 is the most needed policy proposal we’ve ever done.
Please help us make it happen.
