Today Tim turns 50 — The Big Five Oh — “I’ve had 5 decades of fun”
As many of you know, my family has a tradition of adoption. My father who raised me was adopted. I was adopted. My three kids are adopted.
50 years ago today, I was born and adopted into a very loving family. I was raised in Yakima, got a business degree from WSU, moved to the Puget Sound, and now live in Mukilteo. I’ve been married for 22 years and we’re raising 3 kids who are now 17, 15, and 7 1/2.
On days like today, how can I not be happy and grateful and appreciative.
I’ve had 5 decades of fun and I wouldn’t change a thing.
As for politics, I couldn’t be more fortunate. Initiative co-sponsors Jack & Mike Fagan are fearless. Our thousands of supporters are heroic. Working together each year, we fight really hard to protect taxpayers. We provide our reform proposals for the citizens to consider. We spur vigorous debates. We give the voters more choices. We let the voters decide. We don’t win every battle. But we are proud of what we’ve accomplished so far. And we’re ready for more.
I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year:
My proudest achievement: I make all the right people mad. That means I must be doing something right.
The work we do together is very hard and very important. But for me, it is one of the greatest joys of my life. I am so pleased to know you and work with all of you on behalf of Washington’s taxpayers.
