From me and my family to all of you: have a great Independence Day.

I am so grateful to all of you for standing with me and standing by me these past 22 years. You’ve made it possible for me/us to give the voters the opportunity to vote for more freedom, more liberty, and limits on the governments’ power over us.

What we’ve accomplished together could only happen in the USA.

As conservatives, it’s hard living in a red state with a big blue doughnut hole on the left side of Lake Washington.

It’s really hard.

But I believe the fact that it is so hard makes our role in the political process that much more important.

Unchecked government power under one-party Democrat rule is dangerous.

There’s supposed to be 3 branches of government — the executive, the legislative, and judicial. For nearly 18 months, there was only one branch — actually, it wasn’t a branch — it was one-man rule.

All government decisions were made by Jay Inslee.

The legislative branch abdicated its role and the judicial branch sidestepped its responsibility by continually deferring to Inslee — whenever he said this was how it’s going to be, the other branches of government said “who are we to second guess the Governor?”

And the media’s only role was serving as Inslee’s stenographer and cheerleader.

We’re supposed to live in a political system with checks and balances.

For 16 months, there wasn’t any.

Except we the people.

During Inslee’s lockdown, regular folks took time out of their busy lives to attend rallies protesting, marching, helping with initiatives and lawsuits, testifying against bills, and generally expressing our displeasure with Inslee’s one-man rule and occasional stupidity:

Watching Inslee take a victory lap last week was hard to choke down.

“Look at me, look what I did.”

Yes, let’s do that. Let’s look all that he did — let’s look at the carnage, the broken lives, the shattered dreams, the destroyed small businesses, the uneducated children, let’s look at all that.

All of it can be laid at the feet of one person: Jay Inslee and the failure of the other branches of government to restrain him.

But I am a glass-as-full-guy, I always see the silver lining even when I have to squint to see it.

We got nowhere to go but up at this point.

And that success in the future won’t be because of the government, it’ll be in spite of it.

I’ll continue to do what I was born to do and that’s to be a political activist and help the people fight back.

All I ask is for you to help me continue to do what I was born to do by donating to my legal defense fund so I can appeal the ridiculously unconstitutional restrictions on the First Amendment and $5.5 million fine imposed on me.

I am so grateful to the thousands of people who have helped me and my family survive the government’s 8 1/2 year political persecution. Please continue with that assistance.

In addition, we worked really hard on our $30 Tabs Initiative:

Karen and I sacrificed a lot — we sold off our retirement fund to kickstart its signature drive:

And now, a message from Sid Maietto and Larry Jensen:

We’re asking folks to donate to our PAC so Tim can get paid back and to help stop Inslee’s Income Tax and Carbon Tax Schemes with the initiatives we’re co-sponsoring with Tim.

The taxpayers of Washington need our help now more than ever. Donate to our political committee so we can keep fighting for you:

Thanks everyone.

I love you all.

Have a great Independence Day!
