Legislative session: thanks to your testimony & emails, we saved Tax Advisory Votes & Odd-Year Initiatives & stopped Pay-Per-Miles Taxes but …
Tues, March 15, 2022
During this short legislative session, during those 60 days, we sent out 37 email updates to our thousands of supporters across Washington state.
In many of those updates, I asked you to email legislators about specific bills that we opposed. Literally thousands of you responded.
By my count, all of you sent legislators over 2000 emails on those various bills.
And hundreds of you testified in committee too.
That is truly remarkable — you should be very proud of yourselves (I’m certainly very proud of you).
By working together, legislators definitely heard you.
And in some cases, they not only heard you, they listened to you — these bills we asked you to comment on didn’t pass:
* Senate Bill 5127 would have repealed Tax Advisory Votes which voters have passed into law 4 times at the ballot box. Democrats were really trying hard to get rid of them this year. Thanks to you, they failed.
Because of Tax Advisory Votes, we know that since 2012, Inslee has increased taxes 38 times costing taxpayers $58.3 billion.
Over 77 million voters have voted on them. Thanks to you, we defeated this anti-citizen-participation bill. And that means voters will continue to be informed and have a voice whenever the Legislature raises taxes.
* House Bill 1727 would have eliminated initiatives during odd-numbered years (the same year the Legislature writes the budget — the long session where they pass the most bills). Frankly, Democrats actually want to take away the initiative power every year — here, they thought they were safe getting rid of half of them. Thanks to you, that bill failed too.
* The Pay-Per-Mile Tax would have added huge costs to owning and using a vehicle in our state. Thanks to you, it didn’t pass.
It is amazing how many of you took the time to email legislators and testify in committee to let Olympia know how strongly you opposed these awful proposals.
With the above bills, Olympia heard you and listened.
But many of our liberties and freedoms — way too many — were taken away and infringed upon this year.
Even though the people spoke out against them — fought against them — made clear the voters opposed them — Olympia didn’t listen.
That’s why we will continue to fight back against the governments’ constant encroachment on our rights.
We will fight before, during, and after each year’s legislative session. We will fight back with lobbying, lawsuits, initiatives, and electing more freedom-loving-liberty-protecting officials to office.
Is it any wonder the AG is pushing for a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?
I can’t make any money doing my political activism.
I can’t make any money with my lawsuit against Inslee for abusing his power.
I don’t have the same rights as other Americans do anymore.
So I’m urging you — while I’m fighting to help our state and our nation with my initiative efforts and my lawsuit against Inslee — please help me fight back against Fascist Fergie by donating to my legal defense fund.

Don’t let the guy who’s profited more from politics than anyone get away with this.
