Signature drive for Michigan’s Election Integrity Initiative has begun (it’s one of the 7 key swing states we’re targeting)

Valid votes should count, invalid votes should not.

That principle is shared by the overwhelming majority of voters.

What about requiring a voter to show Photo ID and verify last 4 digits of their social security number to vote?

That’s common sense.

I’m very proud to be part of a team working on getting 7 Election Integrity Initiatives done in 7 key swing states.

We want to make sure that in future elections, especially the 2024 presidential election, valid votes count and invalid votes don’t.

And I’m super excited to announce that the initiative campaign in Michigan kicked off their signature drive last Friday:

It’s really exciting to reach this point in the process because the policies in the initiative are now set.

There was a huge debate over the drafting of the initiative — some wanted to include in the initiative ALL the election integrity bills that Michigan’s whacko Democrat Governor had vetoed.

But there were others (I was in this camp) who were strongly in favor of keeping it simple and focusing on the biggies (photo ID to vote, last 4 of social security #, etc).

The simpler approach won out — and that’s huge — because if the 2022 Legislature doesn’t adopt the initiative as written, then the voters will decide in November 2022.

And what I’ve learned in 22 years of doing initiatives, the simpler the initiative, the more likely voters will approve it.

But first, they need to collect 340,047 voter signatures in the next few months. Our team is going to help on that too.

I won’t be making any money helping these initiatives (because of WA’s AG).

My focus is on getting this ridiculously unconstitutional ruling overturned.

So I’m only urging you — while I’m fighting to help our state and our nation with my initiative efforts — is to help me fight back against Fascist Fergie by donating to my legal defense fund.
