VICTORY IN COURT: judge sided w/ me and against the AG. Your prayers helped. Today’s preliminary hearing indicates next Friday will go well too. Here’s what happened today.

Right after my/our victory, I sat in my car:

And as I sat there, I wrote this Facebook post:

I am so grateful to everyone who sent me their prayers and best wishes w/ their texts / emails / phone calls / FB comments.

It was empowering.

Frankly, it’s very surprising to win on this. I thought there was a strong possibility that the judge would not grant the TRO but still possibly rule in my favor next Friday.

So today was a real shocker.

The judge made it clear that he wasn’t ruling on the merits, only on the TRO. But to win the TRO, the judge had to decide whether or not he’s likely to rule in my favor next Friday. And that’s what he did.

I really hope that we can pack the courtroom next Friday morning — the more the merrier.

Imagine how fun it’ll be to watch the AG make one last desperate attempt to convince this judge to keep Inslee and the Democrats’ $3.9 billion tax increase off the ballot.

Ferguson wants to keep the Democrats’ tax increase a secret.

To hide it from the people.

But the judge said: “The public has a right to know.”

He also said:

“Mr. Eyman has standing as a taxpayer.”

and:

“Mr. Eyman has proven he has a well grounded fear of irreparable harm if this tax increase does not appear on this November’s ballot.”

and:

“And finally, to grant a TRO, I must believe that Mr. Eyman is likely to win on the merits. And on that point, I do believe he is likely to prevail. The Cap & Trade … whatever the Legislature wants to call it doesn’t matter … the bill is a tax increase.”

So today the judge signed an Order prohibiting the Secretary of State from printing voters pamphlets and ballots until he issues his final ruling.

Next Friday, August 12th at 9:00am, I hope you’ll join me in Thurston County court in this case’s final hearing to watch me take on the AG over this.

If the judge rules in our favor, the AG will be humiliated because he’ll be forced to follow the law and put Inslee and the Democrats’ $3.9 billion Cap & Trade tax increase on the November 2022 ballot.

Is it any wonder Bob Ferguson is so desperate to impose a lifetime ban on all my future political activity?

I urge you to please donate to my legal defense fund to help overturn the AG’s ridiculously unconstitutional ruling against me so this never happens to anyone else ever again:
